Su di me
With a bachelors in Architecture & Construction Management, plus certified in Interior Decorating Jassi Anand has the knowledge and experience when it comes to homes in Long Island! For the past decade she has worked on numerous residential remodeling projects and helped many families customize their homes to not only fit, but enhance their daily lifestyles. She believes that home is where you go to recharge and so it’s important that each space serves its function by creating a balanced flow and energy. However it’s not always easy, in fact it’s not always practical. After listening and working hand in hand to develop a collective wish list with all the family members (including the pets), sometimes it just doesn’t make sense to invest in your existing home and neighborhood. This triggers a move, and who better to continue the journey with then the person who already took the time to understand you? This is why Jassi decided to add real estate services to her list. While maintaining a positive and calm attitude, mixed with some creativity, Jassi loves to figure out all the moving parts of the puzzle to serve your short and long-term goals during the transition of creating a new home!
It all actually started when Jassi took the lead on building her parents’ new construction home in 2005. After unsuccessfully looking on the market for months she found a vacant property and hired an architect to scheme up all the details and make the ideal custom home! As she worked with the builder she felt a sense of nirvana on the job site while managing and witnessing the months of planning and drawings come to life! Just in college at the time this is when Jassi discovered her true passion for homes and shortly after worked at Home Depot's Expo as one of their best kitchen and bath designers! This further opened up the doors to team up with general contractors to provide design-build services and work on permitted projects such as additions and whole house remodels, often requiring rehab loans and building inspections. She also owned a 4-BR home in Dix Hills and was able to bring the distressed property back to life, a smart investment to raise its value for resale.
Bringing all her skills and experiences into the real estate world and her passion for architecture is what makes Jassi the ideal realtor for clients that prefer a very personal, one-on-one experience. She likes to dive in deep, she likes to really keep you focused to help you make small decisions which will eventually and naturally guide you towards the big decision of finding the one. After all, especially since the pandemic started our homes have become our offices and for some even a school, a gym and more. Jassi is always studying the history of homes, how they have come about and evolved into the styles and trends we have today. How our culture has changed over the decades and what the modern-day family needs now and will in the future to lead healthy habits, healthy lifestyles. Therefore as a designer she likes to experience each space with her 5 senses, brainstorm ideas on how to create a mind, body and soul connection. She often sees a home as a shell that needs to nurture us and how we can also care for it, maintain it after you've moved in and for years to come. This is why Jassi can even guide you on mindful living, a mindful home with sustainable and green design if you choose to get her more involved. And as a licensed realtor she considers many more factors such going at your slow or fast pace, managing your budget and matching the timelines to bring everyone to the closing table. She is always putting her efforts towards merging the gap and creating open, compassionate communication between buyers, sellers, other realtors and all the correlated people such as loan officers, attorneys, appraisers, title providers, inspectors, movers and anybody else that gets involved in the deal for a smooth transaction from A-Z. All while maintaining fiduciary responsibilities to her clients and working together as a team, she’s always confident to make each and every project, every sale not only a success story, but to also build lasting relationships. Don’t be surprised if you end up asking her to help plan the housewarming party and explore Long Island together!
